Visiting the Louvre in Paris
The first art museum we went to while in France was the Louvre (the largest art museum in the world!!) on August 29th. We didn't get to spend a lot of time there, we definitely saw less than half, but what I did see was great and exciting! The entrance to the Louvre is an art exhibit in and of itself! In the courtyard (?) of the Louvre is a giant clear pyramid which is the entrance. It goes underground into the basement which is incredibly neat!
Before you ask, I did not have time to see the Mona Lisa, and yes I know that's a shame, but is it really? The Mona Lisa is everywhere and I see it all the time, it's okay.
