The second studio class I took at SCAD this past fall quarter was the design II class; Color Theory. We learned about the origins of different colors, the history of making paint, the science behind color in light, and color values just to name a few. This was a heavy note taking class and the projects we had were no where near as exciting as some of the ones my roommate had who was in the same class with a different professor, but overall the class was enjoyable and I learned a lot of useful stuff to employ in future projects.
Most of our class assignments were just painting squares; taking some blue and then adding a little bit of white and painting a square, then a little more white and painting a square and so on and so on. So, since this is the case I'm not going to post every assignment I had, as they're rather boring. Below you can see a selection of some of that stuff along with the more exciting ones!
